Preventive Maintenance
Guaranteed Truck Service, Inc. believes in and promotes preventive maintenance. Regular intervals of inspection and service will prevent costly breakdowns and towing cost before they happen. Preventive maintenance also protects the safety of your employees as well as lost time for your company, your customers and your products.
Inexpensive oil changes are not the same as a PM (preventive maintenance) inspection. Just changing the oil may be fine for a vehicle driven back and forth to work; however, vehicles that are used to perform a company's daily business are subjected to a lot more miles, hours and abuse. Plus, they also carry more cargo and equipment that is valuable to any company's operation.
"Breakdown" maintenance is a term we use to refer to the type of maintenance that is only reacting to problems after they occur. Sometimes companies forgo the cost of preventive maintenance, only to overextend their budget later when a major failure (engine, transmission, suspension, etc.) occurs.
